DESCRIPTION:CAMERA Young Leadership is an amazing group of YPs (ages 21-45) behind a really worthy cause! Join them for an evening of Krav Maga and discussion on the importance of security with CSS (Community Security Services) on 11/15. (I’ll be in FL\, otherwise I wouldn’t miss it!) \nKosher refreshments will be provided. \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/krav-camera-action-tickets-38298174872 \nAll proceeds go to support our CAMERA on Campus division \nIncreasingly\, campuses have been the scene of propaganda and often aggressive assaults against Israel. Distorted literature\, radical speakers and false\, inflammatory images are all too common\, creating damaging mis-perceptions Israel. This harmful environment can be intimidating to students seeking fair and objective information on Middle East issues. \nCAMERA provides assistance to students through the EMET groups (pro-Israel student organizations) and the CAMERA Fellows Program. This includes guidance in finding and connecting with speakers or films\, planning\, staging and recruiting for successful events\, ample funding for activities and materials for the year\, and addressing Middle East distortions in campus publications and fliers\, at rallies\, and within the classroom.
